Despite the relative prosperity of the United States, hunger remains a
problem for many in our community. UOCA is committed to doing all it can
to reduce the impact that hunger has on our community through several ongoing
projects.
Share a Meal
UOCA members collect food donations from local Chinese Restaurants and
serve them at local homeless shelters, soup kitchens, family shelters and Boys
and Girls Clubs. Past sponsors include:

Moon Festival Harvest Food Baskets
Every Fall, Chinese families celebrate the Moon Festival. In the
months leading up to the celebration, UOCA members are hard at work, getting
donations of money and food to prepare food baskets for needy families in Utah.
These food baskets are delivered during the Moon Festival celebration.
